Facilities/Groups for children and families in Colchester?

Hi all! Was wondering if anyone on here can help. Am going through the adoption process and was wondering what local facilities/clubs/play groups etc there are for young kids in colchester? Does anyone have any recommendations? I live Braiswick way. Really don't know where to start, but want to know what is around. Thank you :-)

There was a mother and baby group in west Bergholt - run by one of the churches. Try the WB website for details. Also Colchester library ran toddler story times. Leisureworld do parent and child sessions in the leisure pool. Also do baby swimming lessons
