Hi,
I have a 15month old boy. I am relatively new in the area and would love to connect with mums.

Hi Cubby and Teruyo why not set a date/time to meet somewhere child-friendly together and post up an invitation on this Talk board (and I will promote via FB and Twitter) so that other local mummies can join you?

Hi Teruyo. I've got an almost 6 month old girl and would be happy to come along. I'm German and my husband is British, so another international couple.

Not sure how well you know the area: Are you near South Park Gardens? southparkgardens.org It's a very pretty park with a good cafe and lots of parents use it to hang out or meet up. Might be a possible meet-up place if the weather is good.

Morden Hall Park is also great for kids, and the National Trust cafe there has really nice cake Smile

Let's decide a place and time. I know a couple of mums in the area will ask if they want to join. We can make a nice mums club Smile

Sound a brilliant idea. It would be fab if you could start a new talk thread to promote meet-ups as and when you organise them Flowers.

There's a wealth of places to meet up in Merton (all across the borough) with little ones - one of the borough's many attractions for families.

FYI if you like reading/going to see films (and are able to leave the little ones at home one evening every six weeks or so) we do have an active bookclub and film group too.

Hi Teruyo - are you still around the area? I am a half Japanese and half english mum
