"Through the use of Mindfulness, Neuroscience, NLP, and Coaching, I have created a programme entitled Joyful Mums which includes a number of tools to help develop more positive emotional habits. Paired with group and optional individual support, the programme is designed to support and empower all women, regardless of the stage of motherhood they are at.

The five week Joyful Mums course covers how to manage and regulate emotions by rewiring the brain towards joy, greater personal connections (to the self and others), authenticity and deep peace.

The course provides a safe space to talk about what it's really like to being a mum or mum-to-be. We are bombarded with images, ideas and expectations of what 'being a mum' should be and rarely feel comfortable enough to talk to friends or even close family members about how we're really feeling. By working as a group of mums on the course, we learn that it is common to feel like a 'bad mother'; to feel guilty or overwhelmed or not always enjoy every aspect of motherhood. We can safely admit to feelings of disconnect from partners, friends and even one's self. We can talk about reality versus expectation and then use tools to help process these feelings and limiting beliefs.

There are several aspects to the course. The meditations are designed to support mothers to connect deeply with their own inner worlds in order to find peace and power from within. The five techniques balance feelings and rewire the brain away from stress and towards joy. They also help to uncover the truth behind uncomfortable thoughts or feelings. Additional exercises work to calm the amygdala (the fear and worry centre in the brain) and create new neural pathways in the left pre-frontal cortex (the joy area of the brain). Finally, the group setting of like-minded women helps the social brain feel supported and enables learning and change to occur more rapidly.

The course isn't just about managing stress when it arises but about rewiring the brain to reduce overall stress levels to help us to move more easily through stress when we do encounter it.

The next Joyful Mums course starts on Thursday 14 September 2017 in Wimbledon and runs from 19:00 – 21:00 every Thursday thereafter until 12 October 2017. The cost for five weeks is £125 (includes 10 hours of group work, a comprehensive workbook and a guided meditation recording). Spaces are limited to only 8 participants so book now to avoid disappointment."

We are also offering a Joyful Mums course taster session for just £15 for people to learn
more about the five week course and practice some of the tools as a group. This session will run from 7pm-8.30pm on Thursday 7th
September
. If you decide to sign up for the full five course, this fee
will be deducted from the course cost total.
