We are delighted to have two places at The School of Artisan Food's Artisan Dairy Session for Children, taking place on Wednesday 2nd August 10am to 1pm, to offer as a prize.

'What better way for children to spend their summer break than to develop new skills and their love of food? Making homemade dairy products is a fantastic way for children to learn about where food comes from and build their confidence.

We invite children aged 8 - 15 to join us for a half day (morning). Our friendly team will be on hand to encourage children to explore their sense of taste, smell and touch, express their creativity and learn about the true provenance of food.

Children will have a go at making:

  • paneer cheese
  • butter
  • instant ice cream

This is a great opportunity for youngsters to make new friends and have fun.'

The School of Artisan Food is at The Welbeck Estate, between Mansfield and Worksop. Find out more about their courses for children here

To enter, email [email protected] by midnight on Tuesday 25th July, with your answer to this question:

What is your child(ren)'s favourite ice cream flavour?

The winner will be contacted on Wednesday 26th July and their name and email address passed on to the School of Artisan Food.
