Schools and moving in the Summer Holidays

We are moving from the South East to Cardiff, hopefully this summer. Does anyone have any idea how this may work with school admissions? I understand that we wouldnt be able to look around any but could we still apply?

I think you'd need an address to apply,minutes no harm in phoning the council and schools to get more info.

Thanks, I've emailed the council to see what they say, I suppose applying in September would be OK, a few extra weeks of summer holidays wont hurt them : )
