Multiple Brit Award winning, indie-rock band, Kaiser Chiefs have been announced as headliners for this year's award-winning Splendour Festival, set in the picturesque Wollaton Park, Nottingham on Saturday 22nd July.

We are extremely excited to have tickets for a family of four to give away.

One of the biggest homegrown pop acts of the 21st century, Busted; 80s legend Tony Hadley (ex Spandau Ballet); Grammy Award winning singer, Billy Ocean; Black Grape, Buzzcocks and local singer-songwriter Georgie, plus many more will also be playing across three stages.

With children 10 and under getting in free, Splendour promises a great family summer day out, with plenty to enjoy, including the free kids' area with hands-on activities and entertainment taking place throughout the day. Across the park, local fringe talent and a full line up on the comedy stage add to the festival vibe.

Tickets for Splendour start at £20 for 11-17 year-olds and £36 for adults with a Citycard. Adult standard entry tickets are priced at £46 each. Children 10 and under go free. Available from www.splendourfestival.com.

To be in with a chance to win, just answer in the thread below (or comment on our competition Facebook post, or respond to our Twitter post, with the answer) by midnight on Friday 30th June:

What will be the most splendid thing about Splendour for you this summer?

The winner will be contacted on Saturday 1st July and asked for their name, postal address, telephone number and email, so that their tickets can be sent to them. The winner must respond by noon on Wednesday 5th July to claim their prize.

Seeing my (ex punk) dh introduce our twins to one of his favourite bands(The Buzzcocks) and then being able to introduce them to one of my favourite bands (Black Grape) and they can judge who has the best taste in music😆

The opportunity to see so many groups in a short space of time - we heard our now favourite group for the first time at Splendour two years ago.

The most splendid thing about splendour would be a lovely day out with live music and my family.

The Buzzcocks DH is an old punk and he and DS both love all the punk stuff! It's been a tough year too and this could be one of our last festivals in the UK...

Splender is so awesome this year
As there's so much to see and hear
the variety of acts that are here to play
Will make everyone want to sing and stay
There's something for everyone which is so great
So if your lucky enough to go don't be late

With 2 lots of birthday celebrations the week of splendour, this would be a fantastic treat for the whole family. I think my boys would think Busted would be the most splendid part of the festival.
