Utkinton Village Children deprived of a playground - HELP

Hi All,

Thanks for taking the time to pop by. Villagers, the school and Parish Council have been trying to seek land to install play park equipment in the village. Currently, there are no play facilities in the village and children/families have to go outside the village for recreation of any kind. After some time, it was decided that the best place to have the equipment installed would be the school field itself and as the size would not impede on the field itself, it appeared to be a win win situation for the children and the families both living in the village and those from neighbouring villages too.

However, on 15/12/16 it was announced that the Diocese of Chester (the owners of the field) would not allow the installation with no regard or respect for the children and families. It appears that four villagers complained about the installation and the Diocese have sided with them.

We now want to petition the Diocese, a Christian organisation, the Anglican Church to reconsider. Therefore, in the first instance we have an online petition. Please, please could you sign the petition and help spread the word. Give the children and villagers a great Christmas/New Year present and boost their pleas.

Many thanks,
