West Jesmond / Ilford Road baby and toddler groups

Hello folks,

I'll be moving into the area in January with my one year old so looking for some good groups that I can take him to and places where I can meet other parents. Can anyone recommend anything, ideally near Ilford Road, Jesmond or Gosforth?

Someone on another thread mentioned the parent and toddler group at Jesmond Parish Church being very welcoming. Hope you find some more. If you are into reading there's a great parents' book group run by New Writing North which meets once a month.

Quite a while since I did this but I went to tiny talk baby signing classes in gosforth which was a lovely group.

Also went to some groups in the church hall on west avenue / high st

No idea if theses still exist but I do hope they do.

There were also some lovely music classes at the sage and seven stories too

I moved to the area to and loved it - hope you do too!
