Lift from Strathearn School to Belfast Boat Club on Tuesdays (Term Time only)

Hi,

I am seeking a lift for my daughter from Strathearn School to Belfast Boat Club on Tuesdays (term time only).

My daughter needs to be collected at 3.40pm to get her to Boat Club for approximately 4pm.

I will be happy to pay petrol money.

Ate you seriously happy for your daughter to be picked up by a randomer off the internet instead of paying for a taxi?

I'm assuming you're looking for someone linked to the school or boat club and so doing that route anyway and 'known' to you, rather than a complete stranger? Have you asked the school or boat club if they can link you up with other parents?

Other than that I'd totally second the taxi suggestion. They'd be insured and regulated and traceable. They also often do school work so should have all the child protection stuff up to date.

I think the timings are a bit unrealistic. There is no way anyone could get from Strathearn to BBC in 20 minutes at that time of day.

I would suggest using the Fonacab app. You can set up an account and associate it with your credit card so that your DD doesn't need to pay any money. I think Value Cabs do a similar app (although I have had poor experiences with some Value Cab drivers, so tend to use Fonacab).
