moving to dartford from south london

will be moving in to a new build from south london, very nervous.
not familiar with the Dartford area. Any advice tips ?
What schools and nurseries would you recommend ?

What sort of area in Dartford?

A friend's daughter went to St Alban's Road primary school which has recently been amalgamated with York Road. She was happy at the little preschool and infants; her daughter entered the much larger junior school in September which she found a little daunting but so far it appears to be working for them. Would that be near you?
Don't be nervous, Dartford has a lot going for it. Have you visited Dartford Park? It is very well maintained and wonderful for little ones, even in winter.

Just another thought, get registered with a GP as soon as possible; a friend who is a health visitor says the surgeries are not keeping pace with the growth in residents.

I am in the same situation.. I have been told Fleetdown, wentworth, Dartford Primary Academy and West Hill are all good schools. Nurseries I am going to visit soon. Which part of Dartford? We might be on the same development.
