Hi everyone, I want to share this incredibly sad story in the hope that some of you can help.

The lady on the left in the picture, is my friend Vicky. She’s the most amazing incredible kind and caring individual you could ever meet and she’s only 44 years old. Vicky has terminal Pancreatic Cancer and has very, very sadly has just been given just 6 months to live.

The beautiful young woman on the right, is her 18-year old daughter Jess. Jessica has Toriello-carey Syndrome and is Autistic. With all her complicated health conditions, the doctors said she wouldn’t live past the age of one.

Her mum Vicky has single handedly raised her and fought for her despite many, many odds, and health set backs, and now she has herself has been dealt this devastating health blow.

Vicky has been a single mum to Jess her entire life, and now with terminal cancer is having to go through the horrendous process of managing her own terminal illness, whilst simultaneously trying to find her gorgeous disabled daughter another forever family.

It is hard to imagine how any of us would manage in this situation, yet Vicky is managing it with positivity and grace.

With time against us, the most important thing for her friends and family to focus on right now is helping Vicky create some incredible and lasting memories with Jess.

Jess is a Disney fanatic, and so we have decided to put on a family friendly Disney charity concert with top class singers from ENO and Glyndebourne on Sunday 29th January, 4-6pm at St. Georges Church, Hanover Square. It's going to be incredible - and you won't want to miss it.

This concert is aiming to raise money to fight pancreatic cancer, splitting the money in 3 different ways:

  1. For Vicky - a friend, and a fighter. To give her the chance to create memories with her daughter, and to fight the best fight she can.

  2. For St Luke's Hospice, Basildon. For the amazing work they do for all the patients in their care. This is where Vicky will likely spend her last days.

  3. For Pancreatic Cancer UK - so that they can continue the fight against this truly horrible disease.

YOU REALLY CAN HELP IN SO MANY WAYS THOUGH

Buy tickets to the concert: tinyurl.com/vickyandjesstickets
Donate to our GoFundMe campaign: www.gofundme.com/fundraising-for-vicky-jess

We're also totally open to offers to help, prizes for our raffle too.

Any queries, please drop us an email to [email protected]

Thank you
