I am a Child Psychotherapist in training at the Institute for Arts in Therapy and Education (IATE) under Dr Margot Sunderland. One of my main training requirements is to observe a baby in its own home from birth up until their second birthday. The purpose is to study human development in detail.

I am looking for a family who would be interested in participating in an observation. I can be flexible around times to fit in with the family as I realise schedules change constantly with young children. Siblings can be present but the focus of the observation would be the baby's development and interactions.

I am fully DBS checked and can provide this and letters of recommendation from the course on request.

Previous participants in Infant Observations have said that they find the experience rewarding and are pleased that they have taken part. A second year MA student told me that her Infant Observation is her favourite part of the course and it is a real privilege.

If you are, or know anyone who would be, interested in taking part I would be extremely grateful. Please email me on [email protected] if you would like to take part or have any questions.

Thank you very much.
