Has anyone moved out of London and regret it later?

We are playing with the idea of moving to Tonbridge or Sevenoaks with our 2 toddlers and wonder if there are any of you who have done it and regret it later?
My husband is from Paris, France so we lived there for 6 years before and now in south-west London. Both of us have always lived in a city so I wonder if I would miss this busy life on my doorstep. At the same time I would love my kids to have more space to run around.
I'm not working currently but surely I need to think about commute back to London in few years time...my husband's company has offices in several places so he always needs to commute regardless if living in London or in Kent.
What are your thoughts?

We lived in London for 10 years. Really loved it. Loved our house, loved our road, loved the school, loved our neighbours, loved our friends, loved walking everywhere-library, friends, schools, shops, supermarket, restaurants.

We were so very nervous of moving out. Ummed and ahhed for a good couple of years before taking the plunge.

Moved to Kent 10 years ago. Love it even more. Haven't looked back.

Where did you move if I may ask? and is there anything you miss?

We're in a village between Tonbridge and Edenbridge, towards Hever.

The only thing I miss is being able to walk everywhere. In London I didn't use the car Monday to Friday. In the country Im in the car a lot Monday to Friday. I found all the driving exhausting for the first six months or so. The kids were at school in Tonbridge, about an 8 mile 20 minute journey, so even the school run was a few miles.

A few of our friends haven't moved out. I know its a big decision. Good luck with it.

I live in Sevenoaks Kent and can highly recommend it. I moved here 15 years ago and have two children who are both at local private schools and my husband commutes to London. I also was worried about moving out but we haven't looked back. The trains are convenient and the town is growing super fast!.
