Summerdown Naturally and the Countryside Education Trust: Introducing children to the great English countryside

We feel very lucky to be based in the heart of the English countryside. There aren’t many places we’d rather work – with views of sheep grazing in the fields, and a landscape dotted with wildflowers.
On a breezy summer’s day you can smell the peppermint, lavender and camomile growing on the Summerdown farm. So that’s why this Mother’s Day, we’re proud to be working with Beaulieu-based charity The Countryside Education Trust,
whose mission it is to connect people with the countryside, and introduce them to the wonders of rural life and farming. We’d like to raise money to help inner city children enjoy a trip to the New Forest. Summerdown Naturally are donating £5 from every order of Body, Bath and Home products over £15. This will go towards the cost of bringing a class of 30 children to spend the day learning about the countryside, and getting involved in all of activities that are available.

It costs around £250 per trip for 30, so we hope to raise enough to get a few classes out of school and into the New Forest. So this Mother’s Day you can give twice; choose Summerdown Naturally and show how much you appreciate your Mother whilst giving these children the chance to get into the countryside.

Please visit the Summerdown website for more information and contact details.
