My husband has created the following petition which calls on Richmond Council to properly fund the so called free 15 hours of nursery or pre school. Currently those parents who do not have a place at a state school nursery have to pay a minimum of £7.50 per hour but they only receive just £3.60 an hour for 15 hours per week.
This means parents are spending over £2,000 a year on something which is supposed to be free!
Please can you help by signing the petition. This needs to reach 1,000 signatures to ensure a debate in the Council. Only Richmond Borough resident signatures count towards the target.
