Can anyone help raise money towards a new bus for Kennington Park Playground?

The Friends of Kennington Park need your help in raising money to pay for a new bus for the children's playground.

The current bus is wildly popular but as you may have noticed it's looking a bit worse for wear and sadly needs replacing.

The good news is that we have found someone to who can build us a replacement. But we need to raise £2,500 to cover costs. We have already raised around £500 and as the Friends have agreed to match every pound donated, we are nearly halfway to our total.

But we need your help to raise more! Please consider buying a £10 'bus ticket’: you can donate right here – just click on the Donate button on the right. Make sure you type 'bus ticket' in the 'special instructions to seller' box.

We will keep you updated on the amount we have raised. Please help by spreading the word about this fundraising campaign. Hopefully the new bus will be parking up in the playground soon!

Morning everyone! I am bumping this as there's still a long way to go with the fundraising. The total raised so far is £750 but the target is £2450. So if anyone can spare a few pounds or can think of a good way of raising money then do let us know! Thanks!

Hi there! Donations are still needed to fund a new bus for Kennington Park. The current total raised stands at £900. The existing bus is currently screened off and is unlikely to be mended so more money is needed urgently. Thanks.
