Where to buy kids outdoor gear

Hi -
I just moved here and need to get my kids a few things and don't know where to go shop! Is there a good outdoors shop with children's clothing? I need rain pants and jackets for starting school. I'm having a hard time finding rainboots for my 2 year old - the sizes don't often go that small. And I need a sleeping bag for my 5 year old.

Thanks!

Don't know where you are in Edinburgh, but Decathlon at Hermiston Gait is good for that kind of thing, and very reasonably priced. There are several branches of Mountain Warehouse in the city and out of town shopping places too.

Decathlon at Hermiston Gait is pretty good.

You could try Go Outdoors, think it's Granton way.

There are many trespass shops and mountain warehouses which often have sales.

Another vote for Decathlon. I only discovered it last year and it was like an Aladins Cave of good, decent basics at reasonable prices. It's the ikea version of the sports world! And any designs are discreet, things are emblazoned with logos or hearts or disney or....you get it.

Wellies - for a 2 year old, try the supermarkets. They have some quite small sizes. Otherwise, Jojo Maman Bebe start wellies at a small size but not cheap

Livingston designer outlet if you have a car.
Trespass ( great for coats), Tog24, Mountain Warehouse all at outlet prices.
For wellies supermarket might be your best bet.

Decathlon is fab. I agree with the PP who likened it to Ikea as I always come out of there with things I wasn't aware I needed..

Sorry my post meant to say "things aren't emblazoned...."
