Durham Grad babysitter/tutor/childminder (21 y/o F) looking for a lovely family

Hi everyone, I've recently moved to the Stockton Heath area with my fiancé and I am looking for Cheshire families to help out with tutoring, childcare, babysitting etc, as part of my preparation for embarking on a PGCE in 2016. I've got lots of experience, working as an Au Pair for a Summer with a 4yr old boy, as a play leader at a Summer Camp in Chichester, as a part-time teaching assistant in a Prep School for two years, and tutoring whilst I was doing my BA in History at Durham (1st Class Honours).

I adore spending time with children - I love getting creative and having fun, but I also find helping little ones to learn and develop to be incredibly rewarding. I have undertaken Paediatric First Aid training and have recently had a CRB check. I also have a full clean driving licence, my own car and a natural, positive enthusiasm for creating child-centred care and experiences. I have extensive contacts across independent schools in the Cheshire/Greater Manchester area, esp. Alty Boys and MGS, and can help with application prep. I am also an active, energetic non-smoker who is happy to help with pet care, personal admin and household work.

As I'm more looking for extra experience, I would only expect minimum wage for any time I spend with a family (ÂŁ6.50 p/a). I would also insist on meeting a family before receiving any employment, and can provide references.

Please reply if you're interested and/or would like to hear more from me!

Hi there HV, what an impressive CV!

Have you listed you details on our pages here - local.mumsnet.com/cheshire/childcare-education Once they are on we can tweet and Facebook about them. I also have a couple of friends in Stockton Heath so will ask them for some more on the ground local info. I will PM you soon.

Hi HV,
I am looking for temporary childcare to cover my nannies maternity leave from Jan - end of April 2016 (in Wilmslow). DC are 9 and 11 so not sure if they might be too old, reading between the lines of what you are looking for! Although 11 year old just starting 2ndry school, so might need some tutoring type help too. I'm looking for after school time 3-7pm 5 days a week, possibly babysitting too and maybe more hours in school holidays. Please give me a ring if this sounds like the sort of thing you might be interested in. 07976 580118. Sarah
