Thinking of moving to Gillingham,any advice on areas, schools,please?

We live in South East London but we are looking for a new house and are going to have a look in Gillingham this week. More precise Duncan Road.

Any advice (pros and cons) on living there in general, nurseries, schools, things to do with little ones and settling in in general would be great to learn!

Why Gillingham? Medway schools are not good at all, crime rate is higher than in other parts of Kent too. Head out along the Orpington train line instead

Because it is the only area we can find 3bed house on our budget.

Do you have any idea how to live in gravesend kent/. found a property in shamrock road gravesend and been there once and I'm here trying to gain more information's about the place.
