whats kingsbridge like to live in/near?

Currently live near Totnes but want to move closer to the beaches! where there is space for my three children.Wanting to know from any local mummys who can tell me a bit about life there and primary schools with pref a yr 1/2 and yr 4/5.Thanks

I moved back to Kingsbridge last year after having been away for about 10 years. We really like living here as there is plenty to do.
I have a 1 yr old and a 3.5yr old and there are loads of groups in the town and surrounding villages. The Children's Centre run a few activities as well.
We live on the outskirts but it still only takes us 10 mins to walk into town at a 3.5year olds pace.
There is also plenty of things for the grown ups to do and of course the beaches are not too far.
There is a mumsnet parents meet up on Kingsbridge on 12th June at 10.30am in The Art Cafe on Fore Street. Full details are on the Mumsnet Facebook page or in the meet ups section on the local website under South Hams. Why not pop along and you can speak to some other parents.
