I have a toddler and a baby and I am starting a group for mom's that want to talk about the sociology/politics of parenting - how society shapes how/why we parent - we will be hopefully trying to read a bit, share our thoughts. An intellectual group. However, let's be realistic, this is a group for mothers with kids, so we will make any/all meetings kid friendly and be gentle with ourselves as to what we can accomplish. This is a group for mothers who miss intellectual conversations, and want to focus this conversations on parenting (as well as topics that develop from this starting point).
