Have you booked any flights for your chilldren that are due to take off after 1st May? If so you could be due a refund of up to £97 per child!

The government has scrapped Air Passenger Duty for children aged 2-11 from 1st May 2015 and it applies even if you booked the flight before then. Some airlines are automatically refunding affected passengers but for others (including EasyJet, Ryaniair, Lufthansa, Flybe, SAS and Wizz Air) you need to contact them to claim your money back.

So check your booking to see if you were charged APD and if so contact the airline.

Thanks for the tip. We have flights booked with Easyjet that should qualify although I suspect it may involve a lot of paperwork and/or waiting on hold to customer services!
