We are looking to settle in a more affordable area where we can buy a house close enough to DH Job. I visited Malton and am going to look at Driffield and Wetwang as these seem to have property in our price range. We have a 2 yr old, who will be an only child. (been told i cant have any more) Im really thinking long term here and would like somewhere with nice schools/community and families and a place that will have plenty going on for him as he grows up, preferably somewhere with lots of other young families on the doorstep. Also we only have 1 car at the moment so need somewhere with enough going on and good transport links for me and DS when we dont have the car. I would love to hear your opinions on the places i have mentioned? Perhaps from those of you already living there. Many thanks.x
