The Andrew Flintoff Cricket Academy is a fun filled week of cricket coaching, games and activities for boys and girls aged between 5-16 years old.
Each Academy features a Star Visit from either Andrew Flintoff himself or another International Player who will pass on coaching tips that helped them reach the top.
The Freddie Juniors (5-7 year olds) have their own programme which establishes the fundamentals of cricket and sport in general. The curriculum reflects the different needs of this age range and has shorter sessions, cricket related skills in a wider context and high and lower intensity activities.
Freddie Seniors (8-16) enjoy learning new skills in all cricketing disciplines of batting, bowling and fielding. The themed sessions encourage a focus on achievement with plenty of opportunities to put skills into action through small-sided games and middle practices.
All staff are ECB qualified and DBS checked. All staff also go through in-house training to deliver 'The Freddie Way' which is certified by IIRSM.
