WIN one of 20 pairs of tickets to the Stitching, Sewing & Hobbycrafts incorporating Fashion & Embroidery Show
Stitching, Sewing & Hobbycrafts with Fashion & Embroidery takes place for at the ExCeL, London from the 27-29 March 2015 will have over 100 exhibitors offering the latest craft and textile inspiration and advice. A selection of stunning period drama wedding dress costumes will be on display from Parisian Costume Designer Olivier Henry and the National Needlework archive presents ‘Stitches In Time’ - a collection of outstanding embroidered panels by Heather Hems which depict people and events of the modern world and have taken over 17 years to complete. The collection of embroideries is a must see for all embroidery and modern art lovers.
Fashion designer and TV star, Debbie Wingham will be running a series of workshops for children. The Future of Fashion workshops offer children aged 6-16 the chance to create designs and learn new creative skills. Parents can bring along their children to take part in the workshops which include Upcycling, Millinery and T-Shirt weaving. The workshops will run each day of the show with the first starting at 11.30am. Young people taking part will also have the chance to model their designs on the show’s catwalk.
With everything from stitching, sewing, knitting, jewellery making and papercraft to cardmaking and quilting, the show is the perfect place to find the very latest products, ideas and innovations from the world of creative craft. All show visitors will be able to enjoy a free programme of Quick & Easy Workshops and Talks each day of the show to offer them inspiration and new ideas.
