I received this lovely email from Lucia, mum to five year old Laya.
Laya has Spinal Muscular Atrophy and needs a new wheelchair costing £25,000. Her wonderful mum has launched a fundraising campaign to raise the money to buy Laya the chair she needs, but she needs our help to do it!
Mumsnet Enfield is more than happy to support the Helping Laya campaign by spreading the word. Will you all also do the same by sharing links and info on social media (twitter, facebook etc)?
I know Laya's mum would really appreciate it :)

Dear Jenny
We are a local family (we live in Amberley Road, Bush Hill Park) and I have launched a fundraising campaign for my daughter Laya who is almost 5 years old but suffers from Spinal Muscular Atrophy.
The local Advertiser newspaper featured the campaign this week (I have attached a link for your interest) and I wondered if you would consider helping me raise awareness locally too? I would appreciate it immensely.
