Hello I am new to the area and was wondering if anyone was able to recommend some nice parks/green areas where I can walk with my pram & I am able to get a tea on the go or sit and have a tea (& obviously cake/chocolate!)
Anywhere around orpington/Bromley area preferably.
Thanks

Kelsey Park in Beckenham is great, lots of room to run about, a playground and a cafe.

I love Kelsey park. Croydon road rec in beckenham is fab too, much better than its name suggests

Swanley park is a great day out too, especially in summer when the train is running. Plenty to do there including boating lake, sandpit, water fountains, playgrounds.

The Churchill gardens in Bromley town centre are also nice, and convenient too, but you would have to buy a coffee fom the high street chains and it with you for a few minutes walk

A nice cafe with a very small playground in the garden is the lavender cafe near sundridge park train station, on plaistow lane

If you are near Orpington, High Elm is outstandingly beautiful to walk and relax, and there is cafe outdoor and indoor.
