Can you parter stay with you overnight in SG

Hi, FTM here from clydebank. I'm looking to meet with other expectant mums, what is your birth month :)? After a friend had a bad experience in princess royal we are moving to the Southern General as it's closer. I was wondering do they let your partner stay overnight with you?

Hi - SG was amazing overall.

Dd is 1 now so not expectant but feedback on the SG here!

Induction went fine, labour ward excellent, post natal ward crap due to lack of staff. They were doing what they could.

And partners are kicked out at 8pm and get a couple of hours in the am and longer in the pm.

I'd highly recommend it but it was heartbreaking for DH to see us down to the post natal ward at 8am (dd born at 4.10am) and have to wave us off - not allowed in!

Oh, I don't like the idea of that. :( was hoping they could stay with me.

I found SG to be amazing (went from clydebank too!), very clean and I was lucky enough to have 2 midwifes with me. Partner wasn't allowed to stay though, although he was given a bit more time instead of the usual visiting times.
