Plan to move back to UK(I lived in Hong Kong for 24 yrs) with daughter age 14 and son age 10 . Need some help, advice and suggestions on good schools around Ascot/sunningdale as my cousin lives there and I like the area v much. Pls can u share yr views on state vs independent schools and which ones r worth taking a look and good Catholic schools near by. Daughter is in a top local girls school in hk, she is v strong academically esp. Eng Lang and lit, she wants to study French, Spanish and Latin . My son also in a boys school here, he is v active and sporty and not keen on pressure and stress of homework and exams! I am open to explore any good and coed schools for both though they r used to the same gender school. Pls advice on applications procedures to get in sept 2015. Looked at St Mary's they r fully subscribed 2 yrs in advance. It seems to be a popular school? Thank u in advance!
