Finally and very hurriedly moving to Frome. Anyone fancy a coffee?

After years of dithering and hiccups with house selling we are finally and very hurriedly moving to Frome. However I'm feeling a bit broken as my boys (4 and nearly 8) who have just returned to school with their old mates will now be flung into new schools where they'll know no one. (Our nine month-old hopefully will be none the wiser). We'll be moving around half term. If anyone with similarly ages kids fancies meeting in a park sometime that would be nice.

Hello! I have a nearly 8 year old girl but would be happy to meet up. What school will they be at, or don't you know yet?

There is also a Frome Parents group on Facebook which is reasonably active, so worth trying there too.

Hi, I recently moved to Frome and would love to meet up. My son is 4 and started at Vallis today. My daughter is nearly 3.
I hope your move goes well. We love Frome already.

Wow, that would be so lovely. Thanks Fromeah and Pompoochie. It's all suddenly very hectic and overwhelming. I've heard the parents' forum is good but haven't managed to get on it yet as the moderate was away. I'll try again. I think the boys will hopefully be going to St Johns as it's the nearest but it's not confirmed yet. So glad to hear your move went well Pompoochie. We're moving in a month. It'll be really nice to meet in a park or something once were there if you still fancy it. But both your replied have encouraged me loads. Do you have any tips for family doctors etc? Thanks.
