Hi,

We are thinking to relocate in Wokingham next month. We have booked viewings in Durham Close,Wescott Road, Ashville Way.
I've found not really nice information about Woosehill area where Durham Close is located.
Can anyone share his/her opinion about these areas? Our main priorities are to be somewhere that is good for our children (5 yrs old and 7 months old).

Thanks,
Geri

Hello gery82

I am looking to move to another part of the Wokingham area (I already leave close to it). All I can say is that I am looking for a new place too but most of Wokingham and surrounding areas are nice, with a few small areas which are not as nice. I am going to look into more details about the Woosehill area soon and if I find anything I'll let you know.

Have a look at the schools it will give you a bit of an idea. I am looking at Primary schools too as my child is turning 4.

Sorry not to be much more help than that....

Moooovellous, thanks a million! I will let you know once my husband make some viewings and give me some personal impressions about the area. He has been to Crowthorne already and he liked it a lot, however, we need better connection to London because he will commute.

That's great, thanks! For London, Wokingham has a station, sometimes it has direct trains to Waterloo, but it depends where you have to go of course....Reading has more choices but it's bigger, so it depends what you like. It's about 10-15 mns by train to go to Reading from Wokingham so, not bad really. Crowthorne is nice indeed and so is Finchampstead I have to say. The later being a bit closer to Wokingham station. It depends if you would like to be more in a centre or a bit away from it?

Hope it helps a bit?
