Richmond Council are rushing through plans to build a working bargehouse to house the Gloriana the equivalent of 7 houses/26 flats on top of the much-loved playground at the corner of Marble Hill Park, Twickenham. It will mean the destruction of a popular and precious enclave, a conservation zone and an area of natural beauty supposedly protected by an historic Act of Parliament.
