We are looking to move to West Sussex as I have been offered a job at the University of West Sussex. We currently live in London, 2 children aged 2 and 7 months. We hope that the sale of our flat will enable us to buy or rent a house with a garden within a 20 mile radius of the University. We want peace and quiet but also relatively easy access to shops and amenities.
In an ideal world we would find a 4 bed house with garden. We have a car so not to fussed about public transport for getting to work but would be nice to have the option! I've looked at Lewes and Shoreham as possible options. Or maybe we should come and look at Brighton as there may be places that fit the bill there?
Where would people recommend we go and look in the area?
