I am writing to local families because in your neighbourhood, at 4 Christchurch Street behind the Chelsea Pensioners' Hospital stands the former home of Vivien Leigh and Laurence Olivier and it's currently at risk of being auctioned off and potentially knocked down or having its character changed. We're hoping to eventually have it considered for listed status.
It's a striking white cottage with pale blue shutters and stands out a mile from the brownstone buildings surrounding it. It's a treasure that was precious to two of Great Britain's iconic actors.
Will you help out a group of Vivien Leigh fans, we just got some grateful attention via the Mail online, by signing a petition we have created in order to save this landmark?
