Hi, I am a total beginner in this. I would love to do martial arts classes for self-defence, weight loss and building strength, but the clubs I have seen so far are either very masculine (sort of fight clubs) or soulless and factory-like (croydon martials arts academy specifically).
I am looking for recommendations for a women friendly martial arts classes where an unfit and overweight mummy would not stand out. Karate preferred due to less human contact, but will consider any type.
