London’s Hyde Park gears up for the school holidays with a feast of fun for kids of all ages as Barclaycard presents British Summer Time announces the Family Day line up on Sunday, 13th July 2014. Whether it is your family’s first festival or you are gig-going veterans, Barclaycard presents British Summer Time Hyde Park Family Day will be the perfect start to the summer with the following acts to entertain the kids throughout the day:
- Horrible Histories performing tales from Horrid Hyde Park.
- Shaun The Sheep and his herd will be leading a farm-themed sports day Championsheeps Live!
- A very special meet-and-greet in the Floral Garden with Hello Kitty!
- Troy will be demonstrating his slight-of-hand magic skills.
- The awesome Titan the Robot will be walking around the site during the day.
- The iconic Mr Men and Little Miss characters will be taking over the Village Hall stage with an interactive arts and crafts class.
- Louis Pearl, the Amazing Bubble Man will be enthralling crowds with his fantastic bubble creations.
- The Go!Go!Go! Show, an energetic musical extravaganza!
In the evening, parents and grandparents will get to see their idols, as the day concludes with shows by Sir Tom Jones, Boyzone, Little Mix, 10cc and The Bootleg Beatles.
Easy transport links, fantastic food stalls, fairground rides, carnival performances and the stellar entertainment line-up make it the perfect place to kick back, relax and enjoy the day with all the family. The park will be the ideal haven come rain or shine with extra facilities to appeal to parents: baby changing facilities, shaded areas and luxury toilets!
