Hi, I hope you can help me, after more than a year we finally managed to buy a flat in Muswell Hill in Fortis Green road. It was a madness, so although we were very careful to look for area's that are close to a primary school, the best we could do with the current market was the flat we got. which we are happy with it. It seems we have 3 primary schools are nearby, Coldfall, Tetherdown and Muswell Hill. but maybe just fall off all of them by inches basically. is anybody living in Fortis Green road, more towards East Finchley side. many thanks for your help.
cheers, M

Best thing is to call the Haringey primary admissions department and get them to calculate on their computer system your exact distance from each school and your chances based on recent years. Obviously it changes every year. I know friends who got into Muswell Hill not far from the bookshops on Fortis Green Road. I know someone in the block opposite John Baird who got into Tetherdown. I know someone in the block across from Bibliotheque who made it into nowhere and ended up applying to Eden primary and getting in and is very happy. It really is down to metres! You could end up on a waiting list and getting in later on.
