Hi there!

Just joined mumsnet waves

Currently working but quitting to spend time with my 9 month old daughter as of June.
Really worried that i'm going to get bored....... - ok i know you're probably all laughing at me right now as i'm sure there are loads of things to do in Cambs, but i don't really know anyone around here and kinda nervous as i'm a shy person but really want daughter (Elisa - so cute!) to get used to being around other kids.

Can anyone suggest places to go in Cambs that are fun and friendly?

Cheers
Caz

Hi Caz - welcome to Mumsnet. You're giving up at a great time to make friends as people will be meeting in parks / having picnics etc. As soon as the weather gets better I'm sure there will be lots more get togethers.

I will be organising another one in the not too distant future so please keep a look out.

Are you on Facebook? If you are there's a really friendly Cambridge page here for play dates & get togethers.

Hi Caz! This sounds like exactly what I'll be doing in a few months time to spend some time at home with our little man who's just turned one :)

I've sent you a message so perhaps we can try a group together x
