If so then I need you! I am going to be hosting a coffee morning and testing a Tassmio Vivy coffee machine. It is also a chance to meet local Mumsnetters and have a laugh.

The venue is the Teaching Hall, St Thomas' Church Philadelphia and I will be there from 11am-12pm. The office address for the church is 6 Gilpin Street S6 3BL. The Teaching Hall is diagonally across the road from the office but reception will be able to direct you.

You will be asked to provide feedback about the machine and everyone who does so will be entered into a prize draw to win a Tassimo Vivy.

Please sign up HERE and MNHQ will be in touch.

Thank you so much in advance for your support.

I will be at work so unable to attend - but good luck!

And a bump!

LocalEditorSheffield · 24/04/2014 21:42

Boo, Hulababy I'd have loved to have met you. Thanks for the bump!

I'd love to but won't have the car and I don't think I'd get back in time for the pre-school run.

RunningKatie · 25/04/2014 20:29

I am going and will do my best to eat all the biscuits and drink all the coffee.

DS will also help eat biscuits and do his best to destroy the place.

I know the building that Playtime is in, I'm assuming it's the big one over the road from there.

LocalEditorSheffield · 26/04/2014 07:25

Runningkatie, it's the same side of the road as the Playtime Centre. I will stand outside to guide people in. There will be loads of space for your DS to run around in. I will make sure I buy a shedload of biscuits!

Shame not to meet you also, Southernbird. I will be there from around 10.30 setting up if you could come a bit earlier?

SouthernBird · 26/04/2014 19:04

I might see what I can do, DS2 could always come with, and we'll go on a bus adventure for the day.

LocalEditorSheffield · 27/04/2014 08:28

Thank you Southernbird :)

Good job i had 3 coffees, road to nursery was closed and i had to sling ds a long way.

I am still bouncing off the walls a bit Grin

tanyaandflynn · 30/04/2014 17:04

I left the house at 9 this morning and walked back in at 3:15! I would be very tired if I'd not had five coffees by 12pm!
If it could have gone wrong it did!

Nice coffee though! Thanks.

tanyaandflynn · 30/04/2014 19:32

And it didn't stop going wrong, Dh crashed his car on the way home, everyone was ok and his car wasn't too damaged but he immediately went to the other guy and said "that was totally my fault" and I'm the main driver on the insurance.
That'll be my 12years no claims gone then.

Balls.

RunningKatie · 30/04/2014 20:07

Oh no, what a nightmare. Glad he's ok but your poor insurance.

I think I have come down from my caffeine high. I might need a nap soon.

tanyaandflynn · 30/04/2014 20:20

I went quite tired about 5, I've not even washed the pots from tea yet!
I'm not sure if they're going to try to settle it without the insurance which would save the no claims but cost a small fortune probably.
It's my birthday on Friday too, I hate the car so it could be a write off for all I care(it's a 2 seater red Suzuki with bloody bull bars) I will miss the money and no claims though.
Apparently I'm not allowed to complain because last year I wrote my car off in a car park. No one else was involved so we just scrapped it borrowed some money and bought a new one. I didn't tell the wall it was my fault though!

LocalEditorSheffield · 30/04/2014 20:24

Poor you Tanya. I hope you manage to havea great birthday. I really enjoyed meeting you both and your DSes.

Ds sat Dh down when he came In and very solemnly and in his own words told him he'd played with a boy and kissed him Dh asked him If he'd enjoyed it and had he been good and he looked really sad and said "no I pushed"

Then he told him we'd sneaked to mcdonalds on the way home, he even told him I'd said not to tell him it was a secret!
I liked this kid better when he couldn't talk!
I'm 31 on Friday and trying not to think a about it lol

RunningKatie · 01/05/2014 08:16

Oh bless him, he was so good. I was telling dh that ds was just trying to escape all the time and also shuddered at his hot chocolate!

He was worn out & fell fast asleep in the car afterwards. Smile
