Something to do in/near Windsor for 5yo and 8yo with great-Gran in tow...

Can anyone suggest something to do in or close to Windsor on a Friday after school? I'm bringing my children DD (8) and DS (5) over to visit my Gran tomorrow after school and I'm struggling to find something to do. Gran lives in sheltered housing and her flat is too small really for sitting (and the kids don't do polite chatting for long Smile), so we've found that the best idea is to go out to do something, and take Gran along. That way, Gran enjoys the outing and DD and DS are kept occupied.

We often go to the park by the river and play there, but in wet weather it isn't great. Gran can't walk far any more, and it isn't good for her to get wet through and cold. At half term we did a great craft session at a local garden centre, and that went down really well with everyone - the kids had fun, Gran pottered around somewhere new, and we all enjoyed tea and cake in the coffee shop! But during term time I'm struggling to think of ideas. I don't live locally, so it will be 4.30pm really before we get there as we're coming after school.

I'd be really grateful for any ideas. Thanks!
