Nursery recommendations in Herne Hill/Brixton?

Hello, we are starting to think about childcare for our baby boy when I go back to work early in January 2015. We'd ideally like a nanny share (I've posted separately about this), but i'd like to put his name down for a nursery place, too, for later on. I'd be very grateful if people could share their experiences of local nurseries in SE24/SW2/SW9, particularly the Effra Early Years Centre and Ruskin House. We are in Poets' Corner in Herne Hill. If you're looking for a nursery round here it's probably best to go visit all of them and then go on the waiting lists of all the ones you like - the waiting lists are generally quite long, so at least you have several options that may come up then - good luck!

We had a good experience with Cherubins in SW2, Palace Rd, and many people like Nelly's - friends had good experiences with Nelly's .
