Looking to move to Frome but not sure how to manage the school runs!

We are due to view some houses in an around the Frome area Frome, Midsomer Norton and Radstock). My partner works at a Local College but that means that with his start hours at work school runs will be tricky unless we find either breakfast clubs or childminder.

I have two children (2yr10 and 2mth) with one due to start school next September, hence looking to move now Smile. However with First and Middle schools only in Frome, I am really wondering how do other mums do the school drops and pick ups between the schools and work?? Does anyone have this situation and able to help me in this (minor for now) pickle?

Time for a cuppa and think....Brew.

littlebird, sorry for the delay in replying.

Frome does indeed have first and middle schools, though Radstock and Midsomer Norton mainly have Primaries. In the village I live in, we are lucky that the infants and juniors are on the same site, so pick up/drop off is a little easier.

I know other parents that run a rota and share the roles if split between two sites.

My Daughter is not due to start school until next September too, when my Son will be starting at the Preschool. Luckily the times are a little staggered so I do have time to get him there once I drop her off.
