Looking for a family for a nannyshare in Guildford (Onslow Village)

Hi. my family is moving to Guildford (Onslow Village) on 1st May and would love to find another family that we could do a nannyshare with. We have a girl who turned 3 in February and we need childcare for her Monday to Thursday 8am-6.30pm. On Wed and Thursday afternoon she would be attending the Montessori Nursery in Onslow from 12.15-2.45 and possibly also on Tuesday morning from 9.15 - 12.15. So as it's only part-time care for one child a nanny just for our family is not really going to work and all the childminders in the area are either full or they can't do pick-ups from the nursery due to other school pickups they do. So our ideal situation would be to find another family who would like to share a nanny with us. That means the hourly rate becomes more affordable and the job will most likely become more fulltime for the nanny making it work for them too. We've already met some great nannies who would be interested in the job if we could find the right family. Is anyone thinking of going back to work after having a baby? First or second child. Or perhaps you think this arrangement could suit your family better than your current childcare arrangements? We currently have this arrangement in London and it works so well. We use each others houses so the children get a change of scene and they get a company of each other during the day. And the nanny gets a full-time job out of two part-time families. We'd love to hear from you if this sounds of interest to you. Katharine

Hello did you find someone to nannyshare with in the end? We would be really interested if it's still something you're considering.
