Swimming lessons (for junior school aged children) in Bickley/Bromley area

Hi - can anyone tell me where good swimming lessons are held in the area? My children can swim but still do lessons/badges but miles away where we used to live so I'd like to find decent lessons in the area (ideally ones that go on to a sufficiently high level that they can keep going for a few more years at least).

Hi. I have 2 suggestions. One is Angela's Swim school. They use local pools, usually in school or hotel pools. They have lessons in Orpington. Check out the website www.angelasswimschool.co.uk/. My middle daughter did a half term crash course and a couple of terms of weekly lessons. We switched her to Dartford swimming club last year, which brings me to my next suggestion. Look up your local swimming club. Bromley club like kids to be competent swimmers over 6 when they join, but some take children as beginners. Dartford take beginners as young as 3. My son's on the waiting list there. I've been slow to get him swimming because of a medical condition which is now resolved. But swimming clubs are the best place IMO if you want them to swim long term and I've found it better blue for money than regular lessons and progress has been quicker.
