We are trying to arrange my MIL's funeral. She will be buried in the family plot in Welford Road Cemetary and we need a place for a relatively small group of us to get together afterwards and warm up with tea and sandwiches. We don't live anywhere near Leicester and MIL hasn't lived there for years so we don't have anyone's house that we can use, nor are we familiar with the area at all.
Can anyone suggest a nice (smart) pub nearby, or the sort of hotel that does afternoon teas and might have a private room we could hire?
Any help or suggestions would be much appreciated!
