Can I walk from the MK Centre to the big Ikea store?

I last came to Milton Keynes about five years ago, and I remembered Ikea being right next to the centre, but I just checked Google maps and it doesn't seem to be the case!

Is it relatively easy to walk from one to the other? I'll be getting the bus and it stops outside the Centre.

No, ikea is in Bletchley, not central Milton Keynes. You should be able to catch a bus or taxi

If you like walking, yes, but if you're going to Ikea, you won't fancy the walk back!
The bus planner* says it's about 30-45 minutes on the bus.
Google Maps** says it's about an hour walking.
