Need to organise a wake in Plymouth, near Efford Crematorium

Hi,

I'm arranging a funeral for my dear Plymothian aunt. All those attending will be coming from far away so I wanted to organise a sit down lunch for after the crematorium. Is there anywhere close to the crem or on the way out of Plymouth that you would recommend? Somewhere with car parking and suitable for ages 4-80(I don't ask much).

Am relatively new to the area so don't have a huge amount of local knowledge. I searched for pubs and restaurants in the Efford area on google but have drawn a bit of a blank. I have heard that a lot of the land in that part of the city was provided for housebuilding by the Astor family under a covenant that there would be no alcohol sold which may explain lack of venues. There are some new hotels by the Marsh Mills roundabout, the Ibis being one- not sure if these would be at all suitable. I suggested the Morley Arms but haven't been.
