I am hoping to find a mother and baby...for a baby observation
It is all about your baby becoming a person - I am a student looking for a pregnant mother or mother and newborn baby to observe as part of my MA course in Psychoanalysis.
I wish to try and capture something of the emerging individual personality of your baby as it develops from pre-birth or newborn to early steps and toddler’hood’.
I am also hoping to observe the wonder of the relationship between baby and you, the relationship in those early days and weeks of life, then later the impact of the family and wider network.
I am looking to visit weekly for an hour for about thirty times in the baby’s first year and again about 30 times in the baby’s second year. This can fall into a term time pattern if helpful and would need to be flexible to the family situation, return to work etc..
I am studying with Human Development Scotland which is affiliated to Strathclyde University and would be willing to come and chat to any curious mums, dads and families.
