Please can one of you lovely ladies suggest somewhere nice to stay in Bristol?

Ideally centrally - parents and 2 young children - somewhere nice as just going for 2 nights. I have heard that some of the central hotels are very noisy? Any recommendations? Thanks very much

I'm not sure how quiet it is but the Marriott college green or the other one are fine. The Avon Gorge hotel in Clifton has lovely views over the bridge, but isn't particularly wonderful inside and can be noisy as it has a very popular garden overlooking the Bridge. There are quite a few city centre premier inn types which are much of a muchness, but fine. If you don't my being a bit outside brizzle Thornbury Castle is nice.
