looking for a group or class so I can meet other pregnant ladies..

I'm currently 17 weeks pregnant and would like to attend a group or class were I can meet up and talk to other pregnant women, any suggestions would ne greatly appreciated. I live in Broughty Ferry but would be willing to travel within Dundee/Angus.

There is a nice NCT group that meets in the Science Centre twice a week. I went along for a natter one time and they were very friendly.

Not sure if they still do it but when I used to work at the old Olympia they did an aqua-natal class and after the pool session they'd all go for a coffee and a chat. It was run by a midwife, if I remember correctly her name was Morag. Anyway, she was lovely and she'd join them for a chat so if anyone had any questions or problems she was happy to help.

Some of the women made some really good friendships and you'd see them coming in for a swim once their babies arrived or coming to parent and toddler classes.

My antenatal class was held in the doctors surgery in brown street broughty ferry, still in touch with most of them now. You should get information on the classes when you get your 20 week scan.
